Boshcoff Embarrasses Northerners

In French it’s called “le bras d’honneur” but Ken Boshcoff insists his gesture in Parliament this week was simply a “light-hearted moment with a colleague”. The problem is, as usual, there were hardly any Liberal “colleagues” present in the House.
Mr. Boshcoff and his party continue to rubber-stamp Harper’s harmful agenda - three out of four voters in Northern Ontario have rejected the Conservative plan and still he continues to support Mr. Harper. It is understandable that Mr. Boshcoff is frustrated but, for him to characterize and defend his action as a “martial arts move” defies logic. Have a look at the video and be the judge.
The irony of the situation is that since arriving in the House, Mr. Boshcoff has been trying to position himself as “Mr. Decorum”. On numerous occasions, he has publicly deplored members’ behaviour and its effect on schoolchildren observing from the gallery. Trying to wiggle out of this situation without a straightforward apology does not enhance his credibility.
